input box
its an interactive feature in swings that lets the user to give his input.

First off, it's "Swing" not "swings". Secondly, there is nothing in the Swing library called an "input box". Do you mean a JOptionPane? And if so, which one? Do you have an example of what you are trying to do, even an example that doesn't work?
I'm not trying to nitpick too much, but the more clear and unambiguous your question, the better chance you'll get a useful answer.

thanks.. i am a fresher to java so i didnt know it. And, yes i am using JOptionPane. Actually i want to get any command prompt commands for example dir,copy filea fileb like that from the user and execute those commands like we execute it in a dos(or the command prompt)window.
and also i want to know about iWay software that helps in integration of 2 different purpose. do u have any idea about this software?
