    Have a glass of water, a meal if it's mealtime and curl up with a big cup of coffee and this:
    https://forums.oracle.com/thread/2044092
    Thanks, also i read it twice and what important was:
    Java Code:
    java.util.Date date = dateFormat.parse(timeString);
    java.sql.Timestamp ts = new ts(date.getTime());
    but thought, give me not what iam looking for i want Date like thant "01.12.2010" but not like "01.12.2010 00.00.00"

    Otherwise every example or tutorial i read it it convert it very easy to the desired format, and return it but as String and i still want to return it after convert its Format as Date, that what i can't find

    Either you didn't read all the pages, or programming just isn't for you.

    No, but that thread is now frustrating me to heck retro-actively. That woman is apparently too stupid to even flip burgers.

    Yeah this one is still fresh on the brain, with goldie's list of lies :) Sigh :( Good old Sun forums. Never have I seen such epic flame wars that escalated into the 20+ page range.

    But the 'World's sh!ttest thread' is lost to posterity. Unless someone can dig up its new url.

    I can't remember enough of what was in it to frame the right search terms.
