Question not compiling classes to target/ classes

    Hi everybody.

If I create a new war project and let maven 3.05 compile the complete projects the first several times it compiles the source and generates classes into the output directory target/classes

After a clean and compile command maven does not compile classes to target/classes.

Is there any caching problem with Maven 3.05?
Neither removing the build from the .m2 directory nor removing the target directory does solve the problem.

    Any advice?

This my pom.xml ... I removed the dependencies
