Default Error: Connection with adb was interrupted [Android emulator - Eclipse]

I'm using Eclipse with an Android Virtual Device.

Firstly, the emulator loads up correctly, but when I try to run my code I get the following error:

[2013-01-25 16:42:37 - test] Connection with adb was interrupted.
[2013-01-25 16:42:37 - test] 0 attempts have been made to reconnect.
[2013-01-25 16:42:37 - test] You may want to manually restart adb from the Devices view.
Before anyone says this question has been asked before, I've literally tried everything suggested and:
    • Have disabled my Firewall
    • Restarted Eclipse
    • Terminated and restarted the adb from the command line
    • Restarted my computer

Thank you and I REALLY hope there is some way you can help :/
If you need any more info (About the JRE or SDK versions, etc - not entirely sure how to check this) let me know.

Are you tried to delete and create the new virtual device?

Yes, I've created 3 different virtual devices and tried them all, along with trying to connect my own Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S3) only to face the same error :/

Just uninstalled Eclipse, Java, and everything else I thought may be associated with this problem and reinstalled the "ADT Bundle for Windows" (Android SDK | Android Developers)

I created a new Emulator and tried to run my code again and this error appeared briefly before bringing up the exact same error as before:

[2013-01-28 20:22:18 - ddms] Failed to initialize Monitor Thread: Unable to establish loopback connection
Genuinely stuck here, don't know what to do T_T

Okay, after many torturous days and countless attempts later I've managed to fixed the problem.

Turns out JRE v7+ is not compatable.

Downloaded JRE v6 and ran it through that and everything is working fine.

    Phew. *wipes sweat from forehead*
