Digital Signature Apps

I hired someone to code an Android App for me in Java. He finished and we submitted the app to the market but now I am using the source code and editing images, buttons, colors, text to make a completely new app. I already have everything working exactly how I want it. It looks good in my emulator and my phone. I'm assuming i need to redo the digital signature? How do I do that? What else do I need to change?

If you're using eclipse (which you should be using), right click on your project in the workspace window, click export, choose android, then export android application. Then simply follow the prompts.
