Hi
Does anyone have any tips on reading raw text files? On the face it this should be pretty simple but I've been tearing my hair out for a few days now. At the moment I'm trying to connect using a filereader class and the main problem is that it cannot find the file. I would use openRawResources in the constructor but that seems invalid.
I've also tried using an input stream but that reads the ascii code rather than the character it represents.
Any ideas please? :(

Java Code:
try {
				FileReader text = new FileReader("tiles.txt");
				BufferedReader data = new BufferedReader(text);
				boolean eof = false;
				while(!eof){
					int line = data.read();
					if(!eof){
						eof = true;
					}
					else{
						Log.i(TAG, "Line");
						Log.i(TAG, "" + line);
					}
				}
			} catch (FileNotFoundException e1) {
				// TODO Auto-generated catch block
				e1.printStackTrace();
			} catch (IOException e) {
				// TODO Auto-generated catch block
				e.printStackTrace();
			}
