send documents to print queue
i think this is reasonably advanced....
i have a list of the physical locations and the amount of each, of a bunch of doc files that i want to send to a printer on the network. does anyone know how i can do this? ive had a little search and still no idea.

You can use Java Print Service API that will do your job, check this link for more details and sample code

guys im having a little trouble....
i dont want to print anything thats on the screen
i dont want to even open the files that i want to print.
i just want to send the print job for that file ( i have file path)
and the amount i want to print. to the printer which lets say is called "the printer"
i have had a look at the API and im still having difficulties.
... oh and if it helps i have the printer name that i want to print to.

You got all details need to do your application. Very simple explanations with example codes. If you are still saying that you don't know how to do it, there is no point to helping you.
On those example you have to change just few lines. Nothing much to do. I already test few of them working extremely fine.

Totally do agree with Eranga as the examples are very simple, if u know what exactly u want in ur application u just have to do some minor changes...

Yes, only few lines. May be our friend lazy to read that page and looking simple code here. I don't know why he not doing a test, just need a copy-paste.
