Default Can access from one server but not another

I am maintaining a program that currently does not have a fully-separate development environment. That is, when I want to run a test, I have to rename some jar files on the server, etc.

One of the obstacles I am having in trying to create a fully-separate development environment is that some servers do not seem to have full access to other servers.

I.e., the program resides on a Unix server, ProductionServer201. One of the things it does is read from folders on Windows file server \\fileServer-37\ElectronicImaging50\. However, if I move the war file to Unix server, DevelopmentServer302, it cannot read from \\fileServer-37\ElectronicImaging50\.

So it would seem to me that there most be some sort of permissions on \\fileServer-37\ElectronicImaging50\ that are given to ProductionServer201, but not to DevelopmentServer302. Where would this need to be changed?

(This certainly isn't an "Advanced Java" question, but I wasn't sure where to post it.)

Default Re: Can access from one server but not another

This is resolved. I found out that the filesystem \\fileServer-37\ElectronicImaging50\ needed to be added (attached) to the host DevelopmentServer302.
