I've tried two process as follows.

Code:

		try{
			//Process proc = Runtime.getRuntime().exec("CheckException1.java");
			Process proc = Runtime.getRuntime().exec("notepad.exe");

		}catch(IOException err){  // or use catch(Throwable err)
			System.out.println("ERROR....");
		}

On the first proc detect an error. I can't th specified file. Not only that file. I tried to open a text file. But not execute.

But the second proc do the job correctly. Do you have any idea?

Change into CheckException.java file, class name is ChceckException

Try this and let me know the results. Compile with ChceckException1.java
