Synchronization between GUI and sockets
I'm planning a game based on a chessboard with client / server architecture
I have already made the client with its graphical interface. Regarding the server I wrote the logic of the game including the part concerning the communication via TCP / IP using sockets
I have trouble writing the communication using sockets, side of the client.
I'm using the SWT libraries, and create my GUI with Window Builder (Eclipse plugin) and inside use a Canvas to draw my chessboard.
I have this problem: in the client side how do I handle events that I come from the GUI and I come from the socket?: :(think):
The GUI in SWT have to infinity main loop, it blocks my application
