Default Get notes played from a midi keyboard

    Hi Guys. First topic here.

Well, I was looking for a way to make my java program do a "simple" task: To read (Or recognize) the notes played on my musical midi keyboard. The first place I looked was the oravle website. Based on this text
Transmitting and Receiving MIDI Messages (The Java™ Tutorials > Sound), I started to make my program. I read that this task is related to note_on and note_off events, but I have no idea of how to handle them. Does anyone know which classes will I need? Maybe a example for me to see the steps I have to follow. Looks like the oracle text is foccused on playback and recording midi files, and that's not what I wanna do.

    Thanks in advance.
