Default Get sessionid from HTTP request

All my HTTP requests goes to a proxy application that I have created.
The request contains various headers including Cookie as one of the header.

I want to read session id from value of this header, but the problem is that I cannot search the hardcoded string "JSESSIONID" because different web servers use different names to store session ID.

Can I assume that the first name-value pair of Cookie header is always sessionid?

    Thanks in advance!

Default Re: Get sessionid from HTTP request

Is this a regular Java server?
    As in, servlets etc?
If so then the HttpSession has the id.
Please do not ask for code as refusal often offends.
