Default Alternative to the Robot class

    Hi!
I'm building a remote assistance application and trying to use the Robot class for real time image feed between server and client.
My problem: The Robot class is just way too slow.
Anyone that knows an alternative to the Robot class in Java or do i have to use JNI?
    Thanks for your replies!

oh, thought i made it clear what my issue was. createScreenCapture(), the amount of time it spends is terrible. Having done a little research without finding the answer, i see that im not the only one who has stumbled upon this "problem".
Anyone that knows a good alternative to createScreenCapture() in Java?
    Thanks!
