Using xinetd to start java application
Hello,
I would like to know if anybody has had a chance to use xinetd to start java applications. I have a Java application that connects to a C program through TCP/IP. From what I have read in the internet, I am supposed to use the inheritedChannel, but when I try this, the inheritedChannel is always null. I was wondering if there is something specific that needs to be done when setting up the service in xinetd in order to make this work. I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with this.
Thanks,
Aldo L.
