Curious for socket programming

Hello,

I want to have a good grip of Remote machine Interface and Socket programming through Java.. May I have the kind information, as to which section of the forum can provide me thorough information in this regard? Furthermore, can anyone send me the full coding of Java RMI, if I want to send a file from one computer to the other (plz try to give the comments against each statement of the coding). Its an emergency..

There's a very fine RMI tutorial; it surprises me that you didn't find it before ...
