Hello,

i need a solution for inserting a license in my java aplication. Until now i didn't need this tools for protection.
Can anyone tell me from the free stuf to the exapnsive one what to use ?

What do you mean by "inserting a license"? Like a click-through license agreement the first time your program runs? An easy way to put license comments in all your .java files?

Sure i am sure,

I need this tool to use it in a web project , in this project i want to give to my client a seraila number xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx , this serial must represent the number of how many agents can be logge on my web project.

Some of my friend said to built a tool,to do this but, if there is somenthing on the web(comercial or free) i prefer to just buy it and integrated in my project.

i don't need to be protected from hackers, because my web project will only be used in private LAN(s).

If it's just a unique number then generate it.
If it means something (other than as a unique identifier) then you'll need to build it.

It's not too clear (as it's a web app) exactly what this is supposed to actually be for.
