Re: LWJGL Collison
well I'm trying to make a 2d game that has a little block type guy which I'm going to put a texture on and all of that stuff but I'm running in to trouble with making him run into other textures(blocks) its not really sophisticated collision I need but just something that will work

Re: LWJGL Collison
In the simple bouncy ball apps we see here, collisions are detected by using x,y and width and height of the moving shape and for the other shapes being displayed.

Re: LWJGL Collison
It might sound weird but you can't specifically "do" collision "in" LWJGL. LWJGL is a game library not an engine. You need to make your own implementation of collision detection.
But just a question,
Are you using Opengl?
If you are maybe you should start with a google search for "opengl 2d collision" or something similar.
