    Default Custom code validation

    Hi,

    I have a text file which contains texts, strings in a certain patters. The file is 6000 lines, i have to validate. I tried using jtexpane. As the line increases it is really difficult to enter any text....can someone provide me how this can be done, so that the user can open the file, the invalid lines should be highlighted the user should able to correct, similar to like an source code editor.

    it is really difficult to enter any text.
    Can you explain what the problem is?
    Are there input file sizes where there is no problem?
