    Post Opening a file using external application

    Dear Folks,

    I want to open a file using JAVA.I want it to open in the same way it open when i try to open it using Command prompt

    Its like I will give the exact URl where file is located and it will open in MS office if its an excel file.

    Please help me.

    Look at the Desktop class.
