Default Application became Read-only in windows after creating Installer

Hi guys I am having a problem. I created a application project using swing and SQLITE embeded database. It also contains a configuration text file. The application is complete and every thing is working as expected. Now I want to create a window installer for my project. I used Advanced Installer, Inno Setup and some other independently to create a installer for windows. And the Installer is ready.

But the problem arises after it. When I install the application using this installer in program files, the application goes read-only.
That is I can read from the database and from the config file but can't insert or edit records in the database and also the config file could not be edited.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
    Thanks in advance....

What happens if you manually copy your application to a PC instead of using an installer?
If it works, then is there something about the installer that is causing you problems?

The application works fine as intended when I manually copy the Application to different locations even in the 'Program Files' . But this doesn't work when this is done with a Installer. If this is a problem of a particular Installer package utility then why the same problem occurs for all the Installer Makers as mentioned above?
    Please Help.....

This is a java programming forum.
If there is no problem with your java code when you manually install it, then the problem could be with the installer program. Have you checked with them for help?

I normally use IzPack (it's free!) and it causes no problems for me, but I don't know what Microsoft has up their sleeves for their latest version of Windows ...

    kind regards,
