    Default problem in reading data from excel sheet

    hello friends i am facing problem in reading data from excel sheet for only some spacific cells.
    cells which contain some formula, that cell's value i am not able to retrive.
    i tried with org.apache.poi and jxl both. but in both cases output is same. It is giving me value
    only for that cell which doesn't contain any formula.can anybody give me solution?

    This isn't the brightest of solutions but have u tried copying all of the cells and pasting them as a value ex// 123?

    it will lose the functionality of your excel sheet but you can could save it as a duplicate and use the value only one to upload data

    You said you tried Apache POI, so I will assume you used the HSSFCell class. Did you read the API to see what methods that class has?
