Default Taking ScreenShots Of A Specific Window

Hello, I have been researching this for hours and for some reason I can't seem to figure it out, but how would I be able to take a screenshot of a gui I made. I mean only the gui and not the rest of the screen. I have figured out how to take a picture of the whole screen, but I can't figure out how to take a screenshot of a specific window.

    Thanks in advance

As Norm said press the print screen button then goto paint select edit and paste you will have your whole screen image you can delete the extra parts in paint.
    I hope this helps.
    Regards.

The Robot class can capture the screen as an image. Does it have any methods for what you want to do?

Screen Image Java Tips Weblog makes it easy to capture the image of any frame or any component container within the frame.
