Ok i have a question now not necessarily a problem. Im trying to make a timer that gets the current time and then when the program exits, record that time so that when the program restarts, it can keep track of how long it has been since the last recorded time. How would i go about doing that?

The System class has a method that returns the current time. Something like currentTimeMillisecs.
