    Post Pls guide me in advance java

    Hello everyone,


    I am doing mca from ignou last sem. and I choose a project 'ONLINE JOB PORTAL' and I am new to java and learning core java. I want to know what are the topics of java are used to complete my project. I need to know the topics because SYNOPSIS of this project will be submitted first of all.

    One more thing I want to know that ORACLE (SQL ) is a best combination with java as a database for this project.

    Your responses will give me a idea about my project

    Use mysql. It shall be better choice for educational purpose.

    The aim of my project is to make a online website in which candidates can post their resumes and check the new job postings and also the employers can select the resumes which is best fit for their job openings..

    This project will be completed with whole java language or it requires xml, java script etc with java
