Is the problem with my code or bluej?

Ok so i programmed an application somewhat like notepad which has a new,save,load, and quit buttons, a textarea and a JLabel.
Now the first time i run the main class on bluej the textarea and the save and load buttons doent show but when i close the window and run main again it works normally. what could be the problem?
i cant provide the code since i worked with several classes though if the problem is in my code i just cant figure out why.

As I see things:

Odds are that the problem is with Java/BlueJ: less then 1:10000
Odds are that the problem is in your code: much higher.

Sounds like you're going to have to do a bit of debugging including isolating and testing sections of code, until you can find the offending portion.

Ok so i figured out the problem.
the frame.visible(true); invocation should be be inserted at the end of the main since each time a method is invoked the components are altered.
