    Default Java browser [help]

Hello, i'm pretty sure this is in the right topic but not totally anyways, I have made a basic Java applet that is a web browser. It can read basic html but I don't know how to implement JavaScript and PHP. Can anyone help me?

PHP is server side, so there isn't a need to implement it on a web browser client. Javascript will probably require a 3rd party library. Perhaps something like Lobo: Java Web Browser

I looked at lobo before this, but they made the source a long process to get.

Hello runedog48. This is a Java forum, not PHP or JS discussion board. You should ask your question in relevant forums.

Perhaps I misread the original post, but isn't integrating web browser features with with a Java applet java related?

There are commercial packages out there. I'm too cheap to try them myself. Other than that you'll have to wait until Oracle and those developing J2SE provide a simple implementation of javascript.

Hello, I though that making a web browser out of Java and trying to get it to read a webpage correctly would go under a Java topic. Sorry.

Hope that OP wants to do the same with JS and PHP, which he's already done with Java.

Have I misread your post. I though that you've done it with Java and wants to do the same with different languages. Correct me if I'm wrong.
