    Default How do you install Java 1.6?

    I thought I did, but when I type "java -version" it say's 1.5



    Operating system: Linux/Centos 5 x64

    I presume it is installed, but the PATH still points to the older version. See
    PATH and CLASSPATH (The Java™ Tutorials > Essential Classes > The Platform Environment)
