    Hi everybody
    I want to find the path of downloaded file in the PC in java.:confused:
    please help me.

    I want to write a software that when a user start download, detect the path that the user wants to save his or her file and save it in a data base.

    If a Swing GUI, then simply have the user select the path using a JFileChooser. The Java tutorial will show you how to use this.

    My software is activated in the background and the user can not see it.
