    Default JMF installation problems

    hi all,

    i am kinda new here, so HI :) ,

    i have downloaded the JMF (windows performance pack)and tried to install it, on extraction it opens a pop-up window and says that it "unable to execute" then a path to a a certain setup.exe file (trying to run it directly sends a "handle is invalid" error message)..

    can any one has ideas how can i solve it ??

    i am running on XP with enough memory more then enough disk space, and i am the administrator on this computer...

    check wether have u installed j2sdk 1.x before start installing JMF ... have u tried to start installing from command prompt??? to trace what kind of exception it might be throwing????
