String class jar file

Hi all

I want to know inside which inbuilt jar file string class will be available?
Kindly reply me soon.I need it urgently.

Why? In any case, it is rt.jar but I would seriously suggest not fiddling with this.

You may re-install JDK.

Look in the directory where your JDK is stored (javac.exe etc.). I contains a file named src.zip; it stores the source files for all the classes available in the SE distribution.

If you are using an IDE, then using most of them you can access the source code easily.
