String manipulation

Hai all,

i have the String word "Welcome To Gameloft" and String key "el". I want to cut the word el in word "Welcome To Gameloft" if the character in that word same with string key. So, the word be "Wcome To Gamoft". Can you help me, How can i do that?.

no problem, here is an example that produce what you describe

                System.out.println(word.replaceAll(key, ""));

Lokk at the String API.
Specifically you'll want indexOf(String) and one or both of the substring() methods.

ETA: Or...replaceAll()...:)
