Best IDE for JavaEE development.

Greetings,

I am planning to build a big project base on JavaEE 5 but planning to update sooner.
What would be the best preferred IDE to use for such big project?
Would it be Netbeans 6.9 or Eclipse Helios, or your IDE?

I have never tried Netbeans so i cannot give you a comparison, but after a few years of eclipse i can say i am very, very happy with it.

However, it is a tool you will have to learn how to use, and this takes time and effort. This will be no different for any other IDE.

I remember installing eclipse for the first time, and specifically the packages (it is easier now with the newer versions) - ugh it was horrid.

But isn't eclipse having problem with regards to coding.
I mean your typing your codes then all of a sudden, the eclipse hangs then after a few minutes, it's ok again.

I have been using Netbeans for all my Java project and I'm satisfied.
But I think, I should give eclipse a try.

hello, I just installed Java EE IDE eclipse on my windows 7 64 bit machine...I closed the application after long work in android app development. After closing now am not able to find how to open it again?? pls help
