Detecting image details using Image IO API
We are currently utilizing jai_imageio-1.1.jar and need to verify that TIF image files are scanned in as Black & White and 200 DPI prior to processing. Is there an easy way to do this? I've seen some postings regarding calculations for DPI and was just wondering what the easiest method was. Also, we have had difficulty determining the Black & White format. Any guidance is appreciated!
