Hi
I want to write a java application that automatically posts data to a web page (the page has a text field and a submit button) how can I do that using java.
and In case it was not possible can I create a web page in JSP and post data to it using a java application ?
Any hints, notes, reviews are highly appreciated.

No donot get me wrong, i want to trasfer data from the parallel port to the website periodically, thatz why i also asked for JSP pages because i am working on both sides, the client and the server
