    Default Facing problem in connectivity to MySql Server

    Hello friends......I am new to J2EE. I have just started to build web applications using Servlet and Jsp. But now I want to develop a dynamic one having connectivity with database(MySql) but don't know the procedure of how to do that. I have searched through internet but couldn't find exact solution. Since I am new to J2EE so I want solution in an organized manner. i.e I want step by step procedure. Please help me solve out my problem..I am waiting for your response

    Have you studied the Sun JDBC Tutorial?

    Yes I have studied JDBC tutorial but you didn't understand my point. I am asking its configuration while developing a web application.

    As far as I know with JSP, the accessing a database is similar in create an desktop application - same methods, same concept.
