Default Is it possible to export Stored Procedures using JDBC?

Is it possible to export a proc as text via JDBC ?

I don't see any such functionality that DatabaseMetaData provides...also can't find anything on the net either.

Has anyone come across this problem before?

The text would be the proc's create statement.

I'd appreciate any help on this.

    Thanks.

Each database stores a stored procedure differently, so you'd need to do it for each inidividual db. In other words, I think there's a likely to be a table or view with the SP code in it.
