    Exclamation Best IDE to user.

I know I may have posted this thread in the wrong section.
But I want to know from the experts of Java to what IDE to they prefer developing a system.

I knew some IDE like Netbeans, Eclipse, JCreator, BlueJ, etc. But I want to know what IDE do they prefer most in terms of development and improvement.

    Development in terms of:
    1. Networking
    2. JNI Development (using C++ library)
    3. JDBC
    4. GUI

I am currently using Netbeans 6.8 in software development, but used Eclipse 3.5 when it comes to Java Programming Competition.

    Thanks.
Every project, package, class, method, variable, syntax, algorithm, etc.
are registered in my memory bank. Thanks to this thread.

The answers are as numerous as there are programmers, and due to the frequency of this question it has been sequestered here: What are you using to write your code?, where it it has been discussed at length. Please check it out.

    Luck.

Could well be; I, for one, would leave such threads alone and let them die silently. Replying in those threads is just ludicrous ...

    kindest regards,

    Jos

OK, you have granted admission in this loony bin but can you please be so kind now to help me/us in this thread? The poster is driving me aggressively crazy beyond limits. I am going to inflate my pink infatable axe that goes *beep*; I'm turning green! I ... I ... *gargl*

    kind regards,

    Jos ;-)

Nevermind about that other thread; after > 130 replies I have decided to spoonfeed him. Now all we have to do is hope that he's able to copy and paste; *sigh*.

    kind regards,

    Jos

    Sorry for the late reply.
And it's seems that the replies here are about the thread posted by Fubarable.

I think the replies have more to do with seeing a question that has been asked umpteen million times in this and other Java fora.
