    Default determining the page size(height & width) of a ms-word document

    I'm looking for a solution to determine the page dimension of an ms-word doc (using Apache POI or any other API).

    We are going to implement an upload attachment feature where we have to validate that the uploaded word doc (.doc / .docx) must be 8.5” x 11” in Portrait format.

    I must appreciate any kind of help!

    Wouldn't you have to validate each page (at least for the Portrait part)? You can mix portrait and landscape with word.

    As for the size, I expect it's somewhere in DocumentProperties? Doesn't POI have documentation?
