help with System.exit (1) function call
I have a question about System.exit (1) function call. I read on Internet: "this function call is used to "Terminates the currently running Java Virtual Machine".

But I do not understand what does it mean?

Hi,
The virtual machine is just a very normal process from the point of view of the operating system, when u do System.exit(n); u tell the operationg system to terminate that process with the state code n.
Bye.
