Trigger an Event

i want to trigger an event according to date..for eg: triggering monthly intrest updater in a banking software..
plz let me know how to do that...

plz attach a supporting code if any...

Google "quartz scheduler" and read the documentation.
Asking for code is a bit lazy IMO.
