    i was wondering if it is possible to have textfields, textareas and labels on a web page using php?

    i need to design a web interface to run scripts on a remote server using php, so I need to provide a simple gui.

    what do u guys suggest for the gui ....i'm not allowed to use java applets

    Yes, it's possible.

    textfields (aka a text input control), textareas and labels all exist as part of an HTML page. And web pages can be created using PHP.

    Notice that neither of these technologies have anything to do with Java (the subject of this forum). You might benefit from some introduction to those technologies eg from w3schools.
