Post How to iterate through the java.util.List object in iReport

    Hi,

I'm using iReport 3.5.3. Through Java application, I need to pass the Data Transfer Object (ResultDTO) as a parameter to the jasper report. The ResultDTO would of type java.util.List. The ResultDTO consists of properties viz. Id, Name, Score, ExamDate..etc. In the detail section of the report, I would like to display all the details of the result.

Now, after placing the text field in the detail section, what is the snippet that I can mention in the Text Field Expression property to get the value of Name, Score..etc from the List.

Any suggestions would be of great help.

    Thank you.

Were you able to come up with a solution? I am trying to do something similar. I'm trying to convert the values from a java.util.list to a string to use as an "IN" condition in a SQL Where clause. The results should be something like this:

    "value1", "value2", "value3", "value4"

    Thanks

Seeing as how this post is 2 years old, I would suggest you create a new one with your specific problem.
