Default Loading screen using splash windows

    Hi!

I'd like to create a splash screen that shows how much of the text file has been read through(something similar to the startup screen of eclipse etc). I wanted to know if it is possible for the buffered reader to tell me how much of the file it has already read in?

    Thanks for all the help

    Default

Use a JWindow with a JProgressBar in it; for the length of the file use File.length() and count the number of byteds read by the reader yourself.

    kind regards,

    Jos
