Sending text to a web page
I want to send some text to a webpage from a java GUI application. For example i select some text from a text area. Save it to x variable. Open search engine webpage in a web browser. Send x variable to the search text box and get the search results. How can i do this without opening the browser and doing them manually?
Please help me with this:)

hey thanks for the reply. But there is a problem. I haven't worked in Ruby. So can u describe the solution with more details so that i can do some search on that. Thanks anyway.:)
