    Default Extract jar and place in other folder

    Hai everybody,
    I want the extracted files from jar to one specified folder. Is it possible to achieve?

    jar is kind of zip files
    you can use winrar, winzip, 7zip etc to extract them

    Hi Ramya,
    First of all thanks for ur help.
    In the second link you given, there is command to extract from one folder and copy to another
    the command: jar xf MyDownloadedFile.jar -C "C:\Documents and Settings\mylogin\My Documents"


    but is not copying the extracted files. What i have to do?

    If you are feeling difficulty i n coying the extracted contents with the above command u can use winzip or winrar (GUI tool) for extracting and placing the contents into specified ditectory.

    Winzip u can download from net.
