jar is kind of zip files
you can use winrar, winzip, 7zip etc to extract them

Hi Ramya,
First of all thanks for ur help.
In the second link you given, there is command to extract from one folder and copy to another
the command: jar xf MyDownloadedFile.jar -C "C:\Documents and Settings\mylogin\My Documents"
but is not copying the extracted files. What i have to do?
