Question What is the easiest and most efficient vision library...

Ok so im basically new to computer vision, but i would love to expand my knowledge in java and do some computer vision stuff. So what would be the best library to use with lots of documentation and support? Essentially id like to do object tracking and see if there are changes in the object size, things like that. Would OpenCV be adequate?
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, many thanks, jakx12.

by vision, i'm assuming you mean video/image processing. i haven't done anything like this with java, so i can't recommend anything from experience. however, looking at opencv, it looks very complete compared to what i would expect to find. it already has object detection, which leaves an infinite amount of work done for you.
