    Default reading an Html file and checking for urls

    I have a situation in which I have to read the HTML file and get all the links in it and hava to validate each link.Can I read the html similar to that of a text file and look for the ref string ? will it work or is there any better way of doing it ??

    That is the simplest way of doing it. If you're going to be creating more xml using them, consider org.w3c.dom.
