    Default connect to usb devices

    Hi

    I'm student and i'm looking for a way to connect to usb devices and trying
    to manipulate them. (like msn Ibuddy, i know its possible with this to control the colors). But I have no idea how to start on this.

    I would appriciate if someone was able to help me or point me in the right direction.

    Java does not have built-in support for USB. You'll have to write native code, or use a 3rd party Java USB API.

    yes i know i found the jsr80.jar package. But is it possible to communicate with every device. Or has the manufacturer has to alow it.
