    Default problems with jar command

    This statement works
    Java Code:
    jar -cvf "E:\new tmp\newtmp.jar" "E:\\New Folder"
If I want to add -C, then my cmd is
    Java Code:
    jar -cvf "E:\tmp\newtmp.jar" -C "E:\\New Folder"
    but it doesn't work.
    what's the problem?

    Default

you missed the point (".") and the \\ behind "New Folder"
    Java Code:
    jar -cvf "E:\tmp\newtmp.jar" -C "E:\\New Folder\\" .
