Default Java server listening on given interface?

    Hi

Im trying to write an echo sever that only listens on one of my network cards.

I have two cards, eth0 and eth1 but I only want the echo server to reply to clients that send data on eth1.

    Is this possible?

    Default

Java typically does not support hardware devices directly.

If you are using TCP/IP, then I *think* that each card would have its own set of IP addresses, and you could listen on them using a socket.
